About Michael:

I am extremely passionate about teaching ASL. My passion became stronger after working for new mexico School for the Deaf's AmeriCorps this past year; I lived in a rural town while traveling to several schools and homes to meet Deaf children's needs of language acquisition. In addition, I used to work for National Technical Institute of the Deaf's Panara Theatre helping several Deaf actors to improve their ASL clarity on stage. My tutoring methods strive to meet everyone's own learning style mainly due to my great patience and empathy. I strongly believe in these values: inner strength, curiosity (open mindedness), and persistence.
